Om Prakash Bakoria, born on 22 June 1973, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2006 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a B.E. in Electronics and an M.Tech. in Digital Communication Engineering from REC Bhopal. Currently serving as the Director General of the Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA) since 11 July 2025, Bakoria has held various key positions including Chairman & Managing Director, Commissioner, Joint Managing Director, Municipal Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, Additional Municipal Commissioner, Project Officer, Assistant Collector, and Commissioner. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service with a focus on Maharashtra's administrative and developmental sectors.
