O M Prakash Narayan, born on July 6, 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1992 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, and Special Secretary. His most recent position was Secretary in the Department of Planning and Programme Implementation, a role he held from September 16, 2008, to July 31, 2012. Throughout his career, he contributed to the administration of Uttar Pradesh and the central government before retiring from service.
