Nitin Ramesh Gokarn, born on September 11, 1964, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a Diploma in Business Finance, a Graduate degree in Economics, and a Postgraduate qualification in Personnel Management. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Director, Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, Joint Secretary, Secretary, District Magistrate, and Chief Development Officer. His most recent position was Principal Secretary to the Government in the Public Works Department, commencing on March 30, 2023.
