Nitesh Kumar Jha, born on April 22, 1977, is a 2002 batch Indian Administrative Service officer from the Uttarakhand cadre. He holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Patna University. Currently serving as Secretary, Urban Development since July 2, 2024, he has held numerous key positions including Director, Additional Secretary, District Magistrate, and Managing Director. He has been recognized for his commendable contribution towards the rehabilitation of victims after disasters in Uttarakhand. Proficient in English, Hindi, Maithili, and Nepalese, Nitesh Kumar Jha continues to serve in the I.T. department with dedication.
