Nirupama J. Dange, an IAS officer of the 2007 batch from the Maharashtra cadre, holds an M.B.B.S. from MM C, Mumbai, LL.B. from Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Aurangabad, and a P.G. from the London School of Economics. She currently serves as the Director (Census Operations) at the Registrar General & Census Commissioner of India. Fluent in English and Marathi, she was born on 13/04/1978.
