Niranjan Mardi, born on November 3, 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 Tamil Nadu cadre. A graduate in Medicine, he served in various capacities throughout his career, including District Collector, Commissioner, Secretary, and Managing Director. He held multiple Principal Secretary positions and was Chairman and Managing Director in different departments. His most recent role was Principal Secretary in the Department of Home, starting from March 3, 2017. Throughout his tenure, Mardi contributed to the administrative framework of Tamil Nadu until his retirement.
