Niraj Verma, born on July 6, 1969, is a 1994 batch IAS officer of the Assam Meghalaya cadre. He holds a B.Tech. from IIT Kanpur and a postgraduate degree from IIM. Currently serving as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) at the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice, New Delhi since August 22, 2025, Niraj has previously held the position of Administrator. Proficient in English and Hindi, he continues to contribute to the Indian Administrative Service.
