Niraj Kumar Pawan, born on 27 August 1979, is a 2003 batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre. He holds a B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. from Rajasthan University, Jaipur. Currently, he serves as Secretary in the Sports and Youth Welfare Department, Jaipur, since 9 September 2024. His extensive career includes roles such as Divisional Commissioner, Commissioner, Secretary to Government, Registrar Cooperative Societies, Special Secretary, Director & Joint Secretary, Additional MD, District Collector and District Magistrate, and Sub Divisional Officer. He has received the Best Collector Award in 2009 and the 2nd Highest Achievement in Family Welfare targets. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
