Niraj Kumar Pawan, born on 27 August 1979, is a 2003 batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre. He holds a B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. from Rajasthan University, Jaipur. Currently, he serves as the Director General at Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj Institute (IGPRS), Rajasthan, since 20 March 2026. His past roles include Divisional Commissioner, Secretary to Government, Registrar Cooperative Societies, Special Secretary, Director & Joint Secretary, Additional Managing Director, District Collector and Magistrate, and Sub Divisional Officer. He has received the Best Collector Award in 2009 and the 2nd Highest Achievement in Family Welfare targets. He is proficient in English and Hindi
