Niraj Kumar, born on 25 July 1980, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2010 batch, serving in the A G M U T cadre. He holds a B.A. from B.N.M. University, Madhepura, and an M.A. from IGNOU, Delhi. Currently, he is the Special Secretary at the Department for the Welfare of SC/ST/OBC, Delhi, a position he has held since 16 February 2026. Previously, he served as an Administrative Secretary. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the IAS.
