Nipun Jindal, born on 17 January 1985, is an IAS officer of the 2014 batch from the Himachal Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. from University Rohtak and an M.S. in Orthopaedics from Rajasthan University Jaipur. Currently, he serves as Director in the Department of Digital Tech and Governance, Himachal Pradesh, since August 2025. His previous roles include MD, Mission Director, Special Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, and Assistant Secretary. He has received several awards, including the National Award for IT application e-katch by the Election Commission of India and the Civil Services Award 2021 by the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
