Nilaya Mitash, born on December 5, 1965, is a 1991 batch IAS officer of the Karnataka cadre. He holds a B.Sc. and M.A. from Karnataka University. Currently, he serves as Principal Operations Co-ordination Specialist at the Asian Development Bank in New Delhi since May 2, 2020. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Joint Secretary, Officer on Special Duty, Director, Project Administrator, Registrar, Managing Director, Deputy Commissioner, Additional Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, Deputy Secretary, and Assistant Commissioner. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Kannada. Nilaya Mitash remains in active service in the Indian Administrative Service.
