Nilanjan Chatterjee, born on November 12, 1954, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1998 batch, West Bengal cadre. During his career, he served in various capacities including Commissioner, Joint Secretary, and Chief Executive Officer. His most recent designation was Commissioner from January 1, 2014, to November 30, 2014. He held the rank of Special Secretary to the Government of West Bengal while working with the Howrah Municipal Corporation.
