Nila Mohanan, born on 13 February 1982, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2007 batch, AGMUT cadre. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Delhi University, and an M.A. and M.Phil. in International Relations and International Politics from JNU, New Delhi. Currently, she serves as Joint Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat, New Delhi, since August 2024. Her previous roles include Joint Secretary, Director, Deputy Secretary, Secretary to Government, Collector & District Magistrate, and Additional Secretary. She has received the Special Award for Election Management, the Platinum Award in Digital India Awards 2016, and the Award of Recognition at CSI-Nihilent e-Governance Awards
