Nikhil Pavan Kalyan, born on April 18, 1984, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2012 batch, serving in the Odisha cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Electronics from Malaviya National Institute of Technology. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Commissioner, Vice Chairman, District Collector and Magistrate, and Sub Collector. Since May 31, 2025, he has been serving as the Director of Census Operations. He is proficient in English, Telugu, and Odia. Nikhil Pavan Kalyan continues to serve in the IAS, contributing to administrative functions in Odisha.
