Nikhil Nirmal, born on November 7, 1986, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2011 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.A. Law Honours and LL.B. in Constitutional Law from the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Cochin, and an M.A. in Public Policy from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi. Currently, he serves as the District Magistrate at Nadia since March 7, 2026. His previous roles include District Magistrate and Managing Director. He is proficient in Bengali, English, Hindi, and Malayalam. Nikhil Nirmal is actively serving in the IAS.
