Nikhil Kumar, born on 13 August 1976, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2002 batch, serving in the A G M U T cadre. He holds a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and an M.Sc. in Biotechnology. Currently, he is the Commissioner at Delhi in the Department of Trade and Taxes, a position he has held since 16 February 2026. Throughout his career, he has held various roles including Secretary, Commissioner & Secretary, Director, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, and OSD to Minister. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the IAS.
