Currently, he serves as the District Collector at Gangtok in the Land Revenue and Disaster Management Department, a position he assumed on 2 January 2023. His previous roles include District Collector, Additional District Magistrate & Collector, Sub Divisional Officer, Assistant Secretary, and Assistant Collector. He continues to serve in the IAS.
