Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Deputy Collector, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Under Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Additional District Magistrate. Her most recent designation was Deputy Secretary, a position she held from 1 September 1991 to 22 July 2002.
