Neera Saggi, born on May 13, 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 batch, West Bengal cadre. She holds a postgraduate degree in English. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including Director, Development Commissioner, Deputy Chairman, Secretary to Governor, Special Secretary, Officer on Special Duty to Minister, Managing Director, Secretary, Director, District Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Additional District Magistrate, and Magistrate. Her most recent position was Joint Secretary, held from June 1, 2008, to August 31, 2008.
