Neelam Meena, an IAS officer of the 1998 batch from the West Bengal cadre, was born on February 5, 1970. She holds a B.Sc. and an M.A. degree. Currently serving as the Principal Secretary in the Consumer Affairs Department since February 19, 2024, she has held various key positions including Principal Secretary, Director, Secretary, Deputy Chairman, Private Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, Additional District Magistrate, Additional Director, Sub Divisional Officer, Executive Magistrate, and Assistant Magistrate. She is proficient in English and Hindi. Neelam Meena remains in active service.
