Navtej Singh, born on 26 August 1957, is a retired IAS officer from the 1982 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Economics and a graduate degree in Political Science. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including Divisional Commissioner, Secretary, Inspector General Director, Director General, Commissioner, Managing Director, Special Secretary, District Magistrate, Additional Registrar, Joint Secretary, Chief Commercial Manager, Executive Magistrate, and Principal Secretary. Most recently, he has been serving as Director at NITI Aayog, New Delhi since 24 March 2026.
