Navreet Singh Kang, born on April 12, 1958, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Punjab cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Economics, a postgraduate degree in Social Planning, and an LL.B. in Law. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Finance Commissioner, Principal Secretary, Secretary to Governor, Joint Secretary, Director, Managing Director, Finance Secretary, Additional Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, Additional District Magistrate, and Sub-Divisional Officer. His most recent position was Secretary of the Social Justice and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Department from November 24, 2016, to August 2, 2017.
