Navneet Singh Chahal, born on 14 May 1984, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2011 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Punjab, a PG Diploma in Business Management from the Management Development Institute, and an MBA in Finance from ESCP-EAP. Currently, he serves as Special Secretary to the Chief Minister at Lucknow since 21 April 2025. His previous roles include District Collector and Magistrate, Chief Development Officer, Joint Magistrate, and IAS Probationer. He received the Prime Minister's Award for Excellence in Public Administration in 2020 for innovation in Chandauli district.
