Naveen Verma, born on February 6, 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Bihar cadre. He holds a B.A. Honours in Economics, a postgraduate degree in Economics, and an M.B.A. in Business Administration. Over his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Development Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Principal Secretary, and Secretary. His most recent role was Secretary at the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region from October 28, 2015, to February 28, 2019.
