Additional Chief Secretary, Irrigation and Waterways Department
Naveen Prakash, born on 17 August 1961, is a retired IAS officer from the 1987 West Bengal cadre. He served in various capacities including Additional Chief Secretary of the Irrigation and Waterways Department from 1 November 2017. His previous roles encompassed Principal Secretary, Chief Vigilance Officer, Joint Secretary, Special Secretary, Executive Director, Director, District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, and Sub Divisional Officer. He holds a Master’s degree in Development Management, a postgraduate diploma in International Marketing from Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University, and a graduate degree in Zoology.
