Narmdeshwar Lal, born on January 9, 1970, is a 1998 batch Indian Administrative Service officer from the Bihar cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Petroleum Engineering and a postgraduate degree in Public Policy. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary in the Agriculture Department of Bihar, a position he has held since December 30, 2025. Throughout his career, he has also served as Principal Secretary in other capacities. Proficient in English and Hindi, Narmdeshwar Lal continues to contribute to the administration of Bihar.
