Narinder Singh, born on July 3, 1940, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 Punjab cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities throughout his career, including Managing Director, Director, Joint Secretary, Under Secretary, and Executive Director. His most recent position was Special Secretary in the Department of Home, held from May 1, 1999, to July 31, 2000. Singh's extensive service in the IAS reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Punjab cadre.
