Naresh Nandan Prasad, born on March 19, 1957, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 batch, Uttarakhand cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in History and an M.A. in Economics from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Joint Secretary, Secretary, Director, Vice Chairman, Deputy Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Project Director, Executive Magistrate, and Assistant Collector. His most recent designation was Chef in the Commerce and Industry Department from May 8, 2009, to October 10, 2013.
