Naresh Kumar, born on 18 November 1963, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1987 batch of the AGMUT cadre. He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering (B.E.) and an M.B.A. in Business Administration. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Chief Secretary to the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi from 1 December 2023 to 30 August 2024. His past positions encompass roles such as Joint Secretary, Managing Director, Chairman & Managing Director, Additional Commissioner, Commissioner & Secretary, Chief Electoral Officer, Director, Deputy Secretary, Assistant Commissioner, and Chairperson.
