Narendra Kumar Shah, born on 23 July 1988, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2016 batch, serving in the Assam Meghalaya cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from IIT Mumbai. Currently, he is the Secretary at Assam in the Chief Minister's Secretariat, a position he has held since 13 March 2026. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including Secretary, Director, and District Commissioner. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
