Narayan Thanvi, born on October 1, 1953, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Rajasthan cadre. He holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in Commerce. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and District Magistrate, Commissioner, Divisional Commissioner, Secretary, and Principal Secretary. His most recent role was Principal Secretary in the Department of Home, Rajasthan, from June 30, 2008, to September 19, 2009. Thanvi’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple leadership positions across the state government, reflecting a long-standing commitment to public service in Rajasthan.
