Narayan Swaroop Nigam, born on 25 December 1973, is a 1998 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree and is currently serving as the Principal Secretary in the Department of Health and Family Welfare, West Bengal since 2 April 2026. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Principal Secretary, District Electoral Officer, Managing Director, Chairman and Managing Director, District Magistrate, Chief Executive Officer, Additional District Magistrate, Sub Divisional Officer, Executive Magistrate, and Assistant Magistrate. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
