Narayan Chandra Majumdar, born on January 3, 1945, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds an LL.B. in Law and a postgraduate degree in Commerce. During his career, he served in various capacities, including Director and Additional Executive Officer. His most recent position was Joint Secretary in the Animal Resources Development Department from August 14, 2002, to January 31, 2005.
