Nandita Gupta, an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2001 batch of the Himachal Pradesh cadre, was born on May 19, 1974. She holds a graduate degree from Delhi University and an M.Phil. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Currently, she serves as the Chief Electoral Officer-cum-Secretary (Election) at Himachal Pradesh since September 21, 2024. Her previous roles include Adviser, Joint Secretary, Director, Divisional Commissioner, Special Secretary, Labour Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Mission Director, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sub-Divisional Officer, and Block Development Officer. She is proficient in English and Hindi.
