She served in various capacities including Secretary of the Housing and Urban Affairs Department from February 2, 2015, to June 30, 2017. Her extensive career encompassed roles such as Member Secretary, Adviser, Additional Secretary, Director General, Principal Secretary, and District Magistrate, among others. She holds a Diploma in Personnel Management, a postgraduate degree in Economics, and a B.A. Honours in Economics. Throughout her service, she contributed to multiple administrative and executive positions within the Indian Administrative Service.
