Nandita Chatterjee, born on July 1, 1957, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 West Bengal cadre. She holds a B.A. Honours in Economics, a P.G. degree in Economics, and a Diploma in Personnel Management. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including District Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, and Director General. Her most recent position was Secretary of the Housing and Urban Affairs Department from February 2, 2015, to June 30, 2017. She has also held roles such as Member Secretary, Adviser, Additional Secretary, and Officer on Special Duty to Minister.
