Nand Kumar, born on May 9, 1963, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1989 Maharashtra cadre. He held the position of Additional Chief Secretary at Mumbai, Maharashtra, in the Department of Backward Classes and Minority Welfare. His educational qualifications include a PG Diploma in Industrial Engineering, a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, and a Certificate in Mathematics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities such as Principal Secretary, Chief Protocol Officer, Managing Director, Secretary, and Deputy Commissioner. He received the Satyen Maitra Memorial National Literacy Award in 2007, 2010, and 2011.
