N. Venkatesh, born on 12 November 1981, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2009 batch, Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a B.Tech. from IIT Hyderabad and an M.A. from IGNOU Delhi. Currently, he serves as Special Secretary in the Finance Department of Tamil Nadu since 23 June 2025. His previous roles include District Collector, Registrar, Additional Project Director, Sub Collector, Deputy Secretary, Project Officer, and Executive Director. Venkatesh is proficient in English, Telugu, and Tamil. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
