Dr. N S Jain, born on 14 September 1941, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics, along with postgraduate and graduate degrees in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Director, District Collector, Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, CEO, Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Collector, and Sub-Divisional Officer. His most recent position was Director at Pune, Maharashtra. Dr. Jain’s extensive experience spans multiple administrative roles within the state government.
