N Padmakumar, born on 20 December 1960, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2006 Kerala cadre. He holds a B.Com. in Hindi from the University of Kerala and an MBA in Management from the University of Kerala. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Special Officer, Joint Commissioner, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, and Director. His most recent position was Commissioner in the Rural Development Department, a role he assumed on 23 July 2018.
