N P Bhange, born on July 10, 1940, is a retired IAS officer from the 1982 Maharashtra cadre. He holds postgraduate degrees in Sociology and Law, along with a graduate degree in Economics. Over his career, Bhange served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Assistant Commissioner, Additional Collector, Sub-Divisional Officer, District Supply Officer, District Collector, Additional Commissioner, Director, CEO, and Managing Director. His most recent position was Managing Director in Pune, Maharashtra. Throughout his service in the Indian Administrative Service, he contributed to multiple administrative roles within the state government.
