Joint Secretary, Agriculture and Cooperation Department
N P Basu, born on October 20, 1936, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 batch, West Bengal cadre. He served in the Agriculture and Cooperation Department, holding the position of Joint Secretary from July 1, 1991, to October 1, 1994. Prior to this, he also served as Joint Secretary and Additional District Magistrate. Throughout his career, Basu contributed to various administrative roles within the government.
