He holds a B.E. and an M.B.A. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary/Secretary - I to the Chief Minister, Principal Resident Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Director, Managing Director, Project Director, Controller, Executive Director, District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Additional Collector, and Sub Collector. As of 8 April 2026, he is awaiting posting. He is proficient in English and Tamil and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
