N Mathivanan, born on June 5, 1955, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1999 Tamil Nadu cadre. He held various key positions throughout his career, including District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Industries Commissioner and Director, and Director. His most recent role was Joint Secretary Director in the Industries Department from September 27, 2012, to June 30, 2015. A graduate by education, N Mathivanan served with dedication in the Tamil Nadu cadre until his retirement.
