N L Gupta, born on 15 April 1935, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He has held various positions including Special Secretary, Additional Commissioner, District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Deputy Secretary, Under Secretary, Joint Director, and Junior Scale. His most recent role was District Collector and Magistrate at Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, from May 1992 to April 1993. Mr. Gupta holds postgraduate qualifications in Hindi, and graduate degrees in English and Law.
