N K Wadhawan, born on 16 September 1953, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1996 Punjab cadre. He holds a graduate degree and has served in various capacities throughout his career, including Junior Scale, Director, Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Labour Commissioner, Executive Director, and Special Secretary. His most recent position was Managing Director in the Cooperation Department from 3 February 2011 to 30 September 2013. Wadhawan’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple roles within the Punjab government until his retirement.
