N Jayaraman, born on January 6, 1937, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1961 Maharashtra cadre. He holds postgraduate and graduate degrees in Law, as well as a graduate degree in Mathematics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Managing Director, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Chairman & Managing Director, Joint Secretary, District Collector, Controller, Deputy Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner, and Assistant Collector. His most recent position was Secretary in the Agriculture and Cooperation Department of Maharashtra. Mr. Jayaraman’s extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience across multiple roles within the state government.
