N G Bandopadhya, born on January 3, 1933, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Bihar cadre. He holds postgraduate qualifications in Economics, along with graduate degrees in Law and Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Charge Officer, Deputy Secretary, Junior Scale, Deputy Development Commissioner, Managing Director, Joint Secretary, District Collector, Director, and Additional Secretary. His most recent position was Additional Secretary in the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department from August 1, 1990, to January 1, 1991.
