N B Sinha, born on June 1, 1935, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Bihar cadre. He holds a graduate and postgraduate degree in History. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Sub-Divisional Officer, Junior Scale officer, District Collector and Magistrate, Managing Director, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, and Director. His most recent position was Director in the Local Self Government Department from May 1, 1992, to May 1, 1993. Mr. Sinha’s extensive service reflects his long-standing commitment to the Indian Administrative Service.
