N. B. S. Rajput, born on 17 June 1970, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 1999 batch from the Odisha cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Bhopal. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary to the Government of Odisha in the Commerce and Transport Department since 6 February 2026. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Principal Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Director, Joint Secretary, Commissioner, Divisional Commissioner, District Collector, District Magistrate, Project Director, Sub Collector, and Assistant Collector. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
