N. B. S. Rajput, born on 17 June 1970, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 1999 batch from the Odisha cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Bhopal. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary to the Government of Odisha in the Commerce and Transport Department since 6 February 2026. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Principal Secretary, Divisional Commissioner, Director, District Collector, Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Project Director, Sub Collector, Assistant Collector, and District Magistrate. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
