Dr. Munshilal Gautam, born on October 16, 1945, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1976 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Law, a Ph.D. in Political Science, and a graduate degree in English. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Member Secretary, Secretary, Managing Director, Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Municipal Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, Additional Commissioner, CEO, Additional Collector, and SDO. His most recent position was Principal Secretary in the Department of Home Affairs, Maharashtra. Dr. Gautam's extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the state.
